Our mission is to motivate our community to engage in conservation, restoration and enjoyment of nature focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats.
Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. Support comes from National Audubon Society and donations made by individuals, corporations and foundations. It is recognized by the Connecticut State and Federal government as 501(c) (3) not-for-profit, charitable organization.
We serve the towns of Bethany, Berlin, Cheshire, Hamden, Meriden, Northford, North Haven, Prospect, Southington, Wallingford, Waterbury, and Wolcott.

Visit Riverbound Farm Sanctuary
Riverbound Farm Sanctuary is located on the Quinnipiac River at 1881 Cheshire Street, Cheshire, CT. The sanctuary includes a house built in 1814 and 23.4 acres of diverse habitat preserved permanently as open space.
The grounds are open to the public every day from dawn to dusk.
The museum/nature center is open the third Sunday each month from April to October.
