Join us for the 2024 Big Sit!

Join Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society at Hanover Pond, Oregon Road, Meriden for The Big Sit.

The Big Sit is a birding event hosted by the New Haven Bird Club every year. The challenge is to identify as many birds as you can in one day while sitting in a 17 foot diameter circle.

Technically, the Big Sit lasts from 12am to 11:59pm on October 12, but QVAS will be sitting from 7am until whenever the last of us decide to leave!
