Sketching Flora and Fauna of Riverbound Farm

All ages and skill levels welcome to stop by and draw from direct observation!

Demos will brief and informative.

Night Creature Walk

Join local naturalist Eric Nelson to explore the backyard and open fields in search of insects and other night life!

Bring a strong flashlight and either mosquito repellant or wear mosquito netting.

The walk begins at 7:30pm and will last about 1.5 hours.

Note! The Nature Center/Museum will be open from 5:00pm until the last person leaves.

Free and open to everyone. Rain could cancel this event.

Poetry Reading

In collaboration with the Connecticut Poetry Society, Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society is pleased to host the first of two Poetry Readings at our Riverbound Farm Sanctuary.

Listen to poets read their poems, bring your favorite nature poems for the occasion! If you are new to poetry, you are in for a wonderful awakening: poetry is for everyone! Open mic!
